Lives Changed By a Living God
God changes lives NOW!
It’s easy to think about the Christian faith in terms of stuffy ritual and tradition. It’s easy to read and reflect on the Bible as just supernatural stories of people and times long past. It’s easy to say “God just isn’t working in the world the way God did in ages past”.
We who are Waretown/Barnegat Anew are celebrating the reality that we have a relationship with the Living God… and this God is still in the business of changing lives!
Join us for our Post-Easter worship theme: Lives Changed by a Living God as we explore and discover God’s presence in the lives of biblical characters, historical figures, and us (you and me).
Our hope is that as we come face-to-face with the Living God today, our lives will be changed in powerful and fulfilling ways. So, let’s not settle for poor health, stress, broken relationships, fear, worry, and a sense of directionlessness. Instead, let’s step out in faith and love and let the Living God fill our lives with health, worth, joy, hope, purpose, and mission!

EACH FAMILY RECEIVES THEIR OWN PACKAGE OF LIVE LADYBUGS TO RELEASE INTO THEIR GARDEN OR LANDSCAPING
It’s the little things that make all the difference. How often it is in life that joy, hope, faith and peace seem too small in the face of all the big problems in our world. Small and beautiful, ‘hope’, when we release it into our lives and world, has the potential to turn everything around… tip the balance for good.
Ladybugs, like hope, are small and beautiful… but seemingly no match for the big bad world. But, taken together and released consistently, they have the potential to turn everything around. They eat harmful pests and contribute to healthy growth of food and flowers; a great, green, and environmentally friendly alternative to chemicals and pesticides.
Take time today to release these small bugs into this big world… and while you’re at it… make a promise to yourself, your family, and your world, to release your hope for a better, fuller life today and everyday. It has the potential to turn everything around… and tip the balance for good.

What happens when a thriving church serving Waretown since 1848 meets with an exciting new church born in 2009 only a few miles away?
New life, deep faith, and healthy friendships grow in the community of Southern Ocean County!
The Waretown United Methodist Church and Barnegat Anew are on a journey of growing in faith, building relationships, and serving the community. We are doing this by starting new initiatives all over: worship celebrations, service projects, friendships, interest groups, recovery/support programs, and plenty of events for children and families! We are inviting passionate people everywhere to join us in building a community center… a cornerstone of faith and friendship... for children, teens, singles, couples, families, and active adults.
Maybe you feel God is calling you grow or change. Maybe you feel God is calling you to make a difference or give back. Maybe you lost touch and feel God calling you to reconnect. Maybe you have never known God but are seeking something more out of life.
