What happens when a thriving church serving Waretown since 1848 meets with an exciting new church born in 2009 only a few miles away?
New life, deep faith, and healthy friendships grow in the community of Southern Ocean County!
The Waretown United Methodist Church and Barnegat Anew are on a journey of growing in faith, building relationships, and serving the community. We are doing this by starting new initiatives all over: worship celebrations, service projects, friendships, interest groups, recovery/support programs, and plenty of events for children and families! We are inviting passionate people everywhere to join us in building a community center… a cornerstone of faith and friendship... for children, teens, singles, couples, families, and active adults.
Maybe you feel God is calling you grow or change. Maybe you feel God is calling you to make a difference or give back. Maybe you lost touch and feel God calling you to reconnect. Maybe you have never known God but are seeking something more out of life.
However it is you have come to this place, we believe it is NOT by accident! God has a plan, your life has meaning and purpose, and maybe we were meant to journey together.
