Believing in God But Trusting in Money

We continue with our worship theme: Christian Atheist. This series developed by pastor and author Craig Groeschel prods and probes those places in our lives where:

We BELIEVE in God…

but don’t LIVE like God exists.

This Sunday, February 16th, we reflect on trusting worldly wealth (money) more than God. Many people would say that they believe in God, but their actions indicate they believe more in the power of money. Unfortunately, money cannot provide lasting peace or security…   and chasing it at the expense of faith or family or fulfillment will inevitably lead to brokenness. Pastor Craig Groeschel says that “the number one competitor for our hearts is money”:

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
