Everyone should really come out to the Waretown Church Campus today… we will be finishing out this long series on Momentum For Life which started way back on New Year’s Day. Here was the purpose we started with:
“With the New Year comes new HOPE… and new resolutions. Many of us will strive to lose weight, get fit, spend less, save more, work harder, get smarter, love better, and any number of other worthy goals. We who are Barnegat Anew and Waretown UMC would like to introduce you and your family to the power of faith in God as we all strive to become new and better in 2011.”
Wherever you’ve been so far in 2011… or how many resolutions you have kept or broken since New Year’s… we want to be a support and encouragement for you and your family to be the BEST God wants for you this year. We will be celebrating commitments to grow in health, life, faith, and relationships.
Paul’s encouraging prayer for the people at Ephesus went, in part, something like this:
I pray that God may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know God, so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which God has called you. (Ephesians 3:17-18)
Let’s make that prayer of hope our own as we seek fullness of life and faith!
We gather at 9am and 11am for Sunday celebrations. 9am is more traditional while 11am is really casual and informal. See you at 27 Bryant Rd.!
