Years ago I had a friend who had a passion and life-purpose for promoting the use of natural, whole foods and products for daily living. She was amazing! She could tell you anything and everything about the harmful effects of processed foods, artificial ingredients, pesticides and other aspects of industrial farming and food production. But more than that… she could have you EXPERIENCE life without these ‘toxic’ products we all just consume and consume because we don’t know any better.
After mere days of following her guidelines for everything from eating to bathing to cleaning the house… I would feel cleaner, healthier, more energized, possessing greater clarity and calmness. It was amazing!
All of this is to say that if we are not watching what we eat, drink, breathe, and bathe it… we are likely to be running on junky fuel. And if we are running on junky fuel… chances are we will break down before we can get to where we want to go.
